Meet Our Trainer

Sarah Chambless - Owner and Head Trainer

Sarah Chambless has had a loving relationship with animals her entire life. Having grown up with a wide variety of pets, she was the family trainer and groomer for all of her "found" animals. In 2011, she began volunteering in shelters and developed a special place in her heart for shelter dogs. She welcomed them into her home for short periods of time, helping to prepare the dogs for their permanent placement. Sarah knew the importance of training and saw a need in her community. With her training and behavioral knowledge, she strives to educate families and prepare shelter dogs for their forever homes through programs offered to shelter and rescue groups.

Sarah’s patience, her love for dogs and her ability to communicate with them are never more evident than when she is working with them. She has worked with various canine behavioral and obedience issues and believes that the real key to success with your pets is human communication. She teaches dog owners how to understand their pets and guides them in developing the proper skills that make dog ownership enjoyable.

Dog and puppy training are more than just a job to Sarah. She believes that owning a pet is an amazing and rewarding experience, but also a responsibility, not a luxury. Sarah is committed to making each dog's life a better one and to helping each owner enjoy the responsibility of dog ownership. Through her classes she hopes to inspire owners to use training methods to solve issues with their pets and to enlighten them to how intelligent their pets really are. She will immerse you fully in the training process, and with this approach, she finds that owners end up learning as much, if not more, than their pets.

Sarah has earned her dog training certification through Animal Behavior College and is a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. She demonstrates a commitment to ongoing education by continually expanding her knowledge through study, seminars, and conferences lead by some of the top experts in the field.

Sarah lives with her husband, accompanied by their cat and four rescued dogs. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, or working with animals. She is known for her patient, loving ways with both pets and people
